Have I mentioned how much I like Community? Well...I do. A lot. That show is probably the only thing I make a priority to watch on TV. The cast is great, the scripts are funny, and it's all wrapped up in one 22 minute package.
One of the highlights of the show is the character Troy, played by Donald Glover. You may have heard of him from his recent Twitter campaign to play Spider-Man in the recent movie reboot. Well, it turns out his coolness extends past his TV career. He's also a musician as Childish Gambino, and you can download his latest album here. It's an awesome fusion of a bunch of styles. The beats are rather atmospheric and moody, kind of evoking the darker parts of Kid Cudi's debut. Donald doesn't only rap and sing. He'll switch between the two rapidly, sometimes from one bar to the next. His lyrics describe his lifestyle very intriguingly. He sounds like he's on top of the world, but he struggles with the futility of his relationships or his mom's worrying. I don't know. It's just awesome, so download it.
